A few things have changed in the past few months since my last post. I think I finally have enough material to make a not-totally-boring post.
I graduated from nursing school and took a job in Conroe, TX as a post partum nurse. I will be commuting the 70 miles 3x/week after orientation. I really have enjoyed the job so far. I am working with many great, kind, competent (woohoo!) nurses. And in order to commute efficiently, the minivan went away and I am the proud owner of a new Hyundai Tuscon :)
We got a new puppy named Bailey for our Bowser to play with. He loves her so much and they get along great together. Best of all, he bugs her instead of us now. She is a little sweetie but a bit more shy and reserved than Bowser. Bailey takes longer to warm up to new people.
Our Bowser celebrated his first birthday this weekend. He was confused about his cupcake at first. I think he must have thought it tasted to good to be allowed to be his. But then he devoured it, got over that quick enough.
Mark's first semester of grad school went well, he is now halfway through his spring semester. He is staying pretty busy with classes, work, research, and church council duties.
So thats what we are up to these days. Sometimes interesting. I attempted to start sewing as a new hobby. We will see how that goes.
We are looking forward to our first marriage retreat in a couple of weeks, that should be fun :)
